Sign-up and the first hour
The sign-up was frictionless. Email, age confirmation, straight into the character browser. No dark patterns and no upsell wall between me and a working product. Within about ten minutes I was chatting with Anya, one of the platform's own characters — nineteen, described as mysterious with a mischievous streak, which turned out to be an accurate summary once we actually started talking.
